Online Peer Moderation Using WebPA Special Interest Group

Co-ordinator: Nicola Wilkinson, Loughborough University
Engineering Subject Centre Contact: Carol Arlett

Supported and funded by the Engineering Subject Centre, the WebPA SIG aims to support and facilitate both discussion and sharing of best practice for the peer moderation of group work.

The key outcomes of the WebPA SIG will be to:
• Build a self-sustaining community for WebPA which brings together those interested in peer moderated marking and supports both existing and new users.
• Maintain the reputation and quality of WebPA through active continuation.

Additional outcomes that might arise include:
• Sharing of case studies of how the tool is being used and other related publications.
• Identification and rectification of bugs.
• Possible new code development by users

If you are interested in becoming part of the SIG then the best route is to express your interest on the WebPA JISCmail list by emailing webpa@jiscmail.ac.uk and looking out for the dates of the next meeting on this page.
